Ava turned 2 yesterday!! WOW! Hard to believe. Ava had a great day......full of cake, cookies, presents and BALLOONS! Ava really loves balloons. A patient at work had left these balloons behind and I took it upon myself to bring them home for Ava. Yes, a couple of them said, "over the hill" and "get well soon"....but I didn't care and Ava certainly didn't care. She LOVED them.
Here is Ava eating breakfast with her dad. She got some dress-up clothes from Grandma Lu and had to wear the gloves during breakfast. She was definitely a princess for the day. :)
That morning we frosted little heart shaped sugar cookies. When we weren't looking, Ava consumed a very large amount of sprinkles....this lead to major hyperactivity and then major tamptrums. After that incident, Ava took a walk outside with her dad, went swinging and then used her new red shovel in the driveway.
...On to the birthday party. Here is the spread of food.

Ava blew out her 2 candles all by herself. She was quite proud of her little self.
