Finally...SUMMER!!

After several weeks of wind and rain, summer is finally here! YAY! We've been getting outside every day and loving it.

The girls absolutely LOVE to swing. We have a park right in our neighborhood, so that makes it really easy.

We got an attachment for our bikes so the girls can be pulled behind. Fun, fun!!

We're hoping that Grandma and Grandpa Myhre come out this weekend. I think the girls need some Grandma and Grandpa time. My neighbor is starting to watch the girls one day a week. That means that Jason and I are going to have a day off together with the girls. After working opposite shifts all winter long, it will be nice to spend a day together.

The girls are doing great....both napping at the same time today, which always makes me happy. Annabelle is getting taller and leaner, and her hair is really starting to grow. She loves to flip through books and "read" them outloud. Ava's new favorite thing to do is snuggle. She's always asking me to snuggle with her, and I love it.

Car

These pictures are from a few weeks ago. Annabelle was playing with her car (however, Ava still thinks it's hers....but only when her sissy is playing with it). I've had this toy out for a while now for Annabelle to play with....but without the batteries in! Well, I finally replaced the batteries and it became a whole new toy. Annabelle thought it was really cool and she was really proud of it. She kept looking at me like, "Mom! Have you seen what this can do? I can push buttons and it makes noises!". The newness has now worn off, thank goodness. :) So proud of herself.

Future Rocker?

Little Ava is in love with the guitar. When her Grandpa Gary is here, he usually plays guitar for her and she loves it. Often times (out of nowhere) she'll, say "Grandpa Gary play guitar for Ava". Hopefully he'll be here over Memorial Day weekend, so he can play her some songs.

Jason brought the guitar up the other day and it was so cute to see Ava strumming it. She kept dropping the pick into the guitar, but her guitar playing skills were impressive! :)

Concentrating REALLY hard! I know I've been slacking this week updating the blog. I'll post again tonight or tomorrow. Hope you are all having a great week.
