Ava is obsessed with brushing her teeth (or as she calls it: "brushin' teesh"). I know I'm crazy for saying it, but my child wants to brush her teeth way too often!

A while back, my friend Rachel sent these a-shirts and "baby legs" out to the girls. Aren't they adorable!? If I ever get around to getting more professional pictures taken, I think they should wear these outfits. I love them.

Oh, Wow! Two nights ago, Ava was taking a bath and going totally crazy. She was splashing around and she was so happy. It was nice to get some pictures of her actually smiling. I wish that taking a bath was this much fun for me.

Annabelle is doing great. We give her seizure medication every night before bed. She'll have to stay on the medication until she is seizure-free for 2 years. She crawls all over the place and is walking around furniture. She absolutely LOVES reading books. And we absolutely LOVE her and her sister!

Sfimmin'!

Last month, we made a trip down to Salt Lake for Annabelle's doctor appointment. We went swimming (or "sfimmin'" as Ava calls it) in the hotel pool. The girls loved swimming, especially Annabelle.

Remember a couple of posts ago I wrote that Annabelle has this extremely cheesy grin she gives when the camera comes out? Well, here is proof. She squints her eyes, throws her head back and then shows those teeth off.

Potty Trained??...almost

Big news in our household that I just had to share!! Ava is close to being potty-trained. She peed in the potty 6 times yesterday! And twice so far today! We're not having as much luck with the #2's...but we're working on it.

She has the routine down....she pees in the potty, gets to flush the toilet, gets to wash her hands and then she gets one M&M! Yes, I'm bribing my kid with candy, but it works! And the cutest thing of all is that she calls M&M's "Gramma Ems". :)

Happy Easter!

Happy belated Easter everyone! On Sunday, I was pleasantly surprised to be on call. I was able to stay home with Jason and our little bunnies. There was still snow in our yard, so Ava and Annabelle had an easter egg hunt indoors. Ava did most of the hunting and Annabelle just followed her big sister around. Ava loved hunting for eggs so much, that we did it all over again when she woke up from her nap that afternoon!

Silly Girls

When Grandma Em was here, she gave Ava these absolutely gorgeous sunglasses! Now they have a place in my car and whenever we're on a car ride, Ava has to have them on. Good thing she looks SO good in them! :)

Oh, Annabelle... Here she is grinning for the camera. Seriously - I'll say, "Smile for the camera!", and this is the grin she gives almost every time. It's so funny (well at least we think so!).

I Know People!....Finally!!

FINALLY. After a good month of no blogging, I'm jumping back on the blog wagon. As you all know, it's been a hectic and not so fabulous month. However, I'm happy to say that things are returning to normal. It was very hard when Annabelle was diagnosed with epilepsy....but I know that goes without saying. With that said, I thought I would share a few pictures of the experience. And I promise, future posts will be about much happier things. :)

Annabelle with her head IV.Grandma Lu and Grandpa Gary were already here for a visit when Annabelle had her first seizure. They stayed longer than they planned, missed work and helped take care of Ava. Many thanks to them for everything! Grandma Em and Auntie Lori booked their plane tickets to come out right away. I was soooo happy to have them here. There's just something comforting about your mom when life is tough, you know? Thank you to my mom and Lori for being here!
