Fair!!

Back in July we brought the girls to the county fair. They had so much fun. Ava loved seeing all the animals and feeding the ducks. Ava went on her first carnival ride and got to ride on a pony! It was hard to tell whether or not she liked it..... she didn't cry, but she didn't smile either. Funny girl.

I know I need to get some more recent photos on here. The girls are doing great. Annabelle isn't walking quite yet, but I think she's close. Ava is busy just being 2..... she can be a bit of a handful.

My mom will be here next Sunday!! YAY!!! She'll be here for just over a week so Jason can go elk hunting. I'm really looking forward to spending some time with my mom and going to the grocery store ALL BY MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh joy!

We have a new little addition to our family..... a baby boy puppy named Odin. I'll post some pictures soon!

Big Girl Bed

I am so behind on my blogging it's pathetic. Seriously. Ava moved out of her crib and into her "big girl bed" in June (yes, these pictures are from June!). I was going to order a bed for her and Jason stopped me. He said that he wanted to make her a bed and he did! It turned out really cute and Ava is VERY proud of it. There is a routine that happens every night before bed. Ava brushes her teeth. We sit in her reading corner and read books. Then she lays in her bed and says, "Tickle my body, Mommy (or Daddy)". The girl loves to have her back and tummy softly tickled...and she won't go to bed until it's done. So high maintenance!...but we love her!
